Application Deadline: February 18th, 2026.
Are you interested in understanding how AI affects women and girls? Do you want to learn more about AI bias, online harm, and technology-facilitated gender-based violence and how it affects Caribbean women?
On 10 March 2026, UNESCO is hosting an onsite workshop on the intersection of gender and artificial intelligence in Jamaica. The workshop builds on research from UNESCO's report, Perception of AI Fairness and Online Safety among Women and Girls in the Caribbean, and will explore how AI affects gender equality, safety, and gender-based violence in the Caribbean. The session will be interactive and hands-on, with space for learning, dialogue, and sharing.
Spaces are limited and participation is by application only. Not all applicants will be selected. Participants will be chosen based on their interest, experience, and how they plan to apply what they learn.
